NoËl Coward - GATZ - About The Show

About The Show

Booking from: 8th June 2012 - 15th July 2012

"The most remarkable achievement in theater not only of this year but also of this decade"
Ben Brantley, The New York Times

Following a return season at New York's Public Theatre, this sensational enactment of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby is coming to London for a strictly limited season playing 23 performances only at the Noel Coward Theatre from 8 June - 15 July.

The production is set in a mundane office where workers encounter a dog-eared copy of the American classic novel and read it aloud as the story's characters swirl around them. This word-for-word dramatization is created and performed by Elevator Repair Service, directed by John Collins and features Scott Shepherd as Nick. GATZ is presented as part of the London International Festival of Theatre (LIFT).

Its unique performance schedule starts at 2.30pm and finishes at 10.30pm, including two fifteen minute intervals and a one and a half hour supper break.
